Pests Turned Pets

Pests Turned Pets

Pests like roaches, ants and spiders can quickly become “pets” when we inadvertently provide them with food, water and shelter by allowing vegetation to grow on our homes.  Various insects can already survive in what would seem to be unfriendly environments, so it makes sense that they will thrive when we improve their living conditions.

Also today’s pesticides, in our continuing efforts to be good stewards of the environment, are limited in both treatment techniques and residuals.  When you add these factors together the result highlights the importance of good sanitation practices both inside and outside of a home.

To enhance your chances of sending these pests packing, maintain a vegetation free zone of four feet around the home and reduce clutter both inside and outside.  If you have already addressed these situations and are still having pest issues, it might be time to call in a professional.

Please consider Mr. Bugg’s for all your pest, termite and wildlife control needs in addition to mosquito reduction.
